Islamabad: Project Based Learning helps students develop the needed skills for living in a knowledge-based highly technological world of tomorrow. A PBL initiative was taken at the Beaconhouse F-11/3 Girls’ Campus on December 9, 2016, as Class X-Cambridge explored concepts of energy conservation, transfer of thermal energy, direct current electricity and image formation while building a steam generator, boat, windmill, lemon battery and a camera. It was an exciting learning experience as the students started from scratch and recycled products to turn them into useful learning projects. The project work encouraged students to become independent workers, critical thinkers and lifelong learners as it helped them in learning practical skills.
