Early Years Activities at Beaconhouse-Newlands News Story

October 2011: Students of the early years engage in different activities every month, which help enhance their cognitive, social, physical and emotional learning. Some of the activities for October are mentioned below.

Children visited the nature lab where they looked after plants and learnt about their growth. They used magnifying glasses, binoculars and digital microscopes that have been provided to them.

Children are encouraged to do as much imaginative role play as they can. With the fully-equipped activity area comprising of a make-believe kitchen, dressing up area and screen for puppet shows, the children let their imagination run wild and enjoyed their role plays immensely.
